Fresh Start

I feel now that I have left my teen years that I should make a fresh start, get back more into my art and have the time of my life.
This brief epiphany occurred when I went home to find some of my Foundation work, and it got me inspired again. Lets just hope for the best aye?

Arts Netball Initiations.

Clearly the netball "elders" were just doing it for kicks; we all clearly got in a state, most of us kept hold of our chunder bags... But I can now safely say we are officially part of the Arts netball team!
Being covered in flour and cider was one of the highlights of the night.

Not only did we have to wear bin bags as overalls, we had a cup taped to our hands and a body part taped to another team member, and also had to do tasks to pass the night.
At least these initiations are over, now all I have to be worried about is Sports Tour initiations.

Bring on Saloufest 2011 Sports Tour!

UAL at it's finest

Nay Nay, the roomie :)

I have to say I have definitely loved my time at UAL so far. Not only am I enjoying my course so much, I have met some great people along the way... And it's only the first term!

Summer At Its End

This summer has been one of the best by far, not only have I had some of the most funniest/random days, I have also had the chance to go away with mates to Malia and to witness Reading 2010 in all its glory.

Even though we had our ups and downs in Malia, it was one of the funniest holidays, and I got the best tan I have ever go, EVER. Also loved the fancy dress, even though leopard print wouldn't be my first choice, cavewomen was a class idea!

Then Reading 2010 went and blew me out the water, my first time at a festival and it was AMAZING. Crowdsurfing twice, scuttle scuttle scuttle, knicking peoples chairs, beer bongs, having soo much room for soo many activities, drinking from 11 in the morning til 4 in the morning. And the bands were immense, would have never of thought that people would of got rowdy in Mumford and Sons but they did, and I ended up getting some class bruises from it.

I couldn't of asked for a better lineup than this year's, and I had the best time watching it with the best group of people.

Inbetween Malia and Reading I got to go to a surprise party, see Sonic Boom Six (and chill with some of the band mates) and spend some quality time with great people.

Now as we speak I have 11 days til I move upto London to start my uni life. I can't wait to meet my flat mates, to wish I hope I get lucky and get along with all of them. And I hope I can make the cut on my course. So much to do and so little time to get prepared.

Fabulous

Not only is my girls holiday to Malia 6 days away, I have also found out that I got the student halls that i wanted for September! This makes me feel so much more at ease about September so all I have to worry about now is getting a job in good 'ole London. I then have Reading Festival to contend with in August, so with this I feel as if my life is heading somewhere.

If I had these trainers alongside these sunglasses I would be loving life even more.

New Beginnings

Since finishing college and getting a pass, I am now on my way to going University of the Arts London in September to study Set Design for Stage and Screen; now I'm not the best of people when it comes to dealing with change, but I have a feeling that good things will come my way in September.
I haven't really had the best of luck at the moment with money since paying out £180 to a fake site that I thought was selling Reading Festival tickets, technically I've paid £360 for a ticket so it best be bloody good!
My luck hasn't gone well with my health either as I've had a chest infection for at least a month and 3 weeks and the doctors that I've been to see are terrible! Let alone trying to even book an appointment as you have to call up on the day to book one for that day, and if you miss out on that day you can book one for the next day, no no, you then have to call up the next day and hope for the best. All I can say is I hope I'm all okay when it comes to going away on my first mates holiday with the girls and Jermaine to Malia.
By the end of August I hope to have had one of the best summers; being okay with all my mates, actually having money in my bank account, and having my student halls sorted so that I'll be ready for September.
All I can do is hope.
